Lazy Days of Summer / Chicago Children's Photographer

I know it's been AGES since I've blogged!  It seems like this summer has been the busiest, and ironically I planned on having a lazy summer with my girls by purposefully NOT signing them up for too many camps & activities.  I guess with having them home with me, I haven't had the time to sit at my computer and WORK.  But, you know what...???  I wouldn't change a thing!!  We're having a ball!!  

Here is a session with a young lady who has the most amazing eyes!  She also has the most beautiful curly hair (although she would rather it be straight).  I remember growing up just PRAYING for curls.  I guess all girls want what the other girls have.  We had the most beautiful location....  beautiful Lake Geneva, WI.  

P.S.  She has a beautiful sister, who I'll share another day.

Beautiful Red, Unbelievable blues!/Chicago Children's Photographer

When I received a call from this Miss M's mom saying she needed some modeling pictures for her 12 year old, I never expected such a beauty to walk through the door.  I thought I heard mom wrong....  I said, "There's no way she's only 12!! She has to be at least 16!!"  But no....  she's only 12...  Can you believe it???  Her daddy better watch out!!!  Those boys will be calling soon!

Not only does she NOT look 12 years old (can you say LEGS!!!!  Holy Cow!) but she was a natural behind the camera too.  What a total sweetie!  We had a great time exploring the area behind my house looking for great locations, and Miss M was a real trooper (even when I asked her to climb up on top of a trailer).

Best of luck to you Miss M!!  I know  you'll be GREAT!!!

Beautiful 1st Communicant/Chicago Children's Photographer

I had the wonderful pleasure of photographing this young lady's 1st communion.  She was absolutely stunning!  I just adore her freckles!  

This 1st communion happens to be pretty special to the family because little Miss M is the youngest of 6 kids in the family.  Not a dry tear in the room I tell ya!!

May God guide you throughout your entire life M.   You're a wonderful girl!

Sweet Baby "K"

Boy, it's been a LOOOONNNNGGGGG time since I've posted, I know!  It's been a tremendously busy time for me personally, so I apologize to those of you who check out my blog from time to time.  I will try to be better, I promise. :)

Well....  there is no better way to get back to blogging than with this adorable newborn!!  She is simply DELICIOUS!  She was such a sweetie and her mommy is in heaven with her.  Since Baby K has two older brothers, this daughter means so much to the family!

I promised mom that I'd post some of 16 month old "N".  Even though she's still a wee little one herself, she's a big sister already!  Like I said before.... mom sure is busy!!

Beautiful Newborn / Chicago Baby Photographer

Yesterday, I had the privilege to have a session with the NEW baby sister of an adorable past client.  Boy, oh boy, does this mommy have her hands FULL!!!  Big sister is only 16 months!!  Wowza!!  Can you say diapers, bottles, and spit up...  oh my!!  When I arrived, mom said we'd have a hard time getting her to sleep....  She said Baby S was a light sleeper, and didn't like to sleep naked.  Well....  I thought I had a mission!!  Plus, I've never met a baby I can't sooth to sleep!  Sooooo....  after a nice long feeding, I worked my magic....  and low and behold...  baby S was sleeping so soundly.  Baby S was nice and cozy being naked on top of my set-up, especially since I had the heating pad underneath keeping her nice and toasty!!  Mom was amazed and asked if I wanted to come by at night to help out (Yea!  Right!!!).  

Here are a couple...  but, I'm leaving the rest as a surprise for mom!!  Enjoy your sneak peek, N!!  It was GREAT seeing you.  I'll be sure to put a sneak peek of Big Sis on my blog in the next couple of days.

Casting Call for Newborns! / Chicago Baby Photographer

Jayme Tighe Photography is having a casting call for newborns due in January, February, March or April...

Since I can't be in the great outdoors with my camera (a bit too COLD here in Chicago, doncha' think?), I 'd like to work on my studio photography....  specifically with newborns.

If you are pregnant (or know someone who is), please contact me NOW to book a FREE session & a FREE 11x14 wall portrait (a $200 value!).  Additional portraits may be purchased at regular prices.  Sessions will take place in my home studio and will generally take 2 - 3 hours.

2.  Newborns need to be photographed within the first 2 weeks, so when you deliver your precious new baby, give me a call ASAP to book your session.

Little Boy Blue / Chicago Baby Photographer
